Occasionally I try to organize or participate in community events such as my city’s annual Trunk-or-Treat event. Since many of the children in our area have never, and may never, get to experience a real Halloween, we get a group of people with cars to meet up in a parking lot, decorate their vehicles, and then have the children go trick-or-treating from car to car to receive candy. All participants, children and volunteers, are dressed up in Halloween costumes. Afterwards we play some games like bobbing for apples, pin the tail on the werewolf, etc.
Please contact Tyler Bissonnette for more information about Trunk-or-Treat and other events going on in Block 6. ◆
